The Fun Tunnel

The source for this series rises from Paul being in the crowds on the Alps and the Pyrenees as the Battle Royale takes place amidst the mass of euphoric crowds. The close proximity to these super humans and the transcendence and unity experienced is breathtaking. Paul, in this ongoing series of drawings, studies and final paintings strives to distill the energy and the euphoria, with riders getting lost in their fans, is an absolute joy to see.
